Shannon and Aaron had a perfect small and intimate wedding along Chicago’s lakefront at the venue, Promontory Point. It was a perfect day, these two are so incredibly sweet and fun. I interviewed Aaron this morning. His favorite moment was getting away after having so much fun in the party, walking along the beach, sitting on the stones, looking at the distant city, immersing himself in the cool air, taking the moment in.
It's hard to say what my favorite moment is. The day went by so quickly. I also cried so many times :D A few days after the wedding, Aaron and I discussed if we feel different now after we had the wedding. I think so. Before the wedding I thought of the wedding just like a big party. But after that day, I really felt a bit different, I felt closer and more connected. Maybe because of the joint efforts preparing and saying those vows, maybe because watching our parents from both sides hugging each other.
